  • Nearly anything you can imagine. We regularly play dinner parties, private concerts, birthday celebrations, baby and bridal showers, corporate functions, anniversary and retirement parties, holiday gatherings, memorial and funeral services, and more. If your event could be elevated by live music, we’re happy to be part of it.

  • Performance length is fully customizable. Most events fall within a three-hour window, but we’re always happy to tailor the timing to fit your schedule and flow.

  • We match the size of the ensemble to the size of your gathering to ensure the right presence and sound balance:

    • 100 guests or fewer: Duo

    • 100–175 guests: Trio

    • 200+ guests: Quartet

Any ensemble can also be amplified for a fuller sound. We provide the microphones and speakers, and amplification can be added to any booking for a flat $150.

  • A deposit and signed contract secure your date. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event.

  • Reach out and tell us a little about your vision. We’re happy to set up a quick call to talk through your ideas, answer questions, and help you determine what will be the best fit for your space, timeline, and atmosphere.

  • Yes and yes! We travel up to about 4 hours from Downtown Pittsburgh. Venues more than 1 hour (≈40 miles) away include a travel fee, which we’ll confirm before you book. For outdoor events, cover (tent/covered area/umbrella) must be provided to protect instruments from sun and rain. We can perform between 52°F and 95°F.

  • Yes. We work with a large network of professional musicians across many genres—from jazz to folk to contemporary styles. We can add instruments such as piano, guitar, harp, bass, saxophone, or trumpet to a string ensemble, or assemble an entirely different group suited to your event.

our FAVORITE performances

Radiant Strings Live at Kingfly

For a night of music, florals, and craft cocktails, we headlined a full-length concert at Kingfly Spirits in the Strip District. Every detail from the setlist we carefully curated to the floral design by Steel City Florals was crafted to create an immersive and memorable experience.

“ Radiant Strings completely mesmerized the crowd. I couldn’t help but sing along!”

The Titanic Exhibit at the Science Center

We partnered with the Kamin Science Center to bring the story of the Titanic to life through music. Radiant Strings performed period-accurate selections drawn from the ship’s own manifest, recreating the soundscape of the early 1900s for thousands of exhibit guests.

Radiant Strings at the Greer Cabaret Theater

When the Greer Cabaret Theater reopened its doors in 2023, Radiant Strings was among the first to perform on its newly renovated stage. Our program blended classical favorites with selections from Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812, honoring the theater’s artistic legacy in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh.

Bottlerocket Social Hall Formal “Beer” Pong Night

We brought live strings into the bar scene for an unforgettable “Formal Beer Pong Night” at Bottlerocket Social Hall. Between rounds of laughter and competition, guests enjoyed pop, rock, and R&B hits reimagined for string quartet — and tried to guess each song as we played!

The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium “Animal Instincts” and “Summer Safari”

We love performing at the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium’s fundraisers, an annual partnership that supports their mission of wildlife care and conservation. Every year brings new music, new guests, and the same lively energy.

St. John the Worker Parish Recital Series

2026 marked our third full recital as part of the St. John the Worker Parish Recital Series. This year featured our full Radiant Strings team premiering the Radiant Strings Chamber Orchestra with classical and modern works.

Artful Wednesday’s Pop-Up Show at Nordy’s Place

In collaboration with Guardians of Sound, we performed at Artful Wednesdays and worked with students on mixing and sound production for a live string quartet. The set featured new pop, R&B, and rock arrangements that showcased our range.

Bakery Square Residency

Since 2021, we’ve been a staple of Bakery Square’s holiday season with weekly performances. We also took the stage outdoors in the summer and look forward to continuing the tradition.
